There’s quite a bit of excitement in Mendocino County this month as three branches of the Mendocino County library get ready to screen Under the Boardwalk: A Ukulele Love Story.
Friday, June 19, the Round Valley branch is showing it in the evening. Tuesday, June 23, the Fort Bragg branch is showing it in the afternoon; and Thursday, June 25, the Coast Community branch in Pt. Arena is screening the film. They are having a free raffle at each branch with a grand prize of a ukulele starter kit and a second prize of Jake Shimabukuro’s Peace Love Ukulele.
Copies of Under the Boardwalk will be available for additional viewing by library patrons, as well as added copies of ukulele how-to books.
