After the screening, I was asked if I could post some footage from S.O.B. Unfortunately the day we were there to shoot many of the band members were far flung. Some were in the Virgin Islands, some in Mexico, and the break off band Side by Side was at the Human Race performing. Though small in number that day, the spirit was high and this is some of what we captured.
The Sons of the Beach started out as 5 retired guys getting together to play and now boasts a membership of 65-80 souls. Many are Uke club members who found getting together once a month at Bocci’s just wasn’t enough. So now on just about any Saturday morning, on the beach, near the Crow’s nest you can find them playing. Bring your uke and join in.
